Цілі уроку: вдосконалювати навички діалогічного та монологічного мовлення, читання, письма, аудіювання:
  • навчальна: активізувати ЛО в говорінні та на письмі, формувати навички перекладу, вдосконалювати вміння застосовувати здобуті теоретичні знання на практиці (складання речень);
  • розвивальна: розвивати фонематичний слух, мовленнєву реакцію та готовність до участі в іншомовному спілкуванні, пам’ять, уяву, логічне та образне мислення, вдосконалювати вміння правильної вимови;
  • виховна: виховувати культуру спілкування, доброзичливість, прищеплювати інтерес до спорту та здорового способу життя.
Тип уроку: комбінований.
Міжпредметні зв’язки: фізична культура, музика.
Обладнання: підручник, роздавальний матеріал, таблиця, магнітофонні записи, іграшки, аудіозаписи.

T. Today we shall talk about sport games. I know that you like sports very much. Let’s start with winter games and first of all let’s describe today’s weather. Answer thy questions.
1. What season is it now?
2. What are winter months?
3. What month is it now?
4. Is the sky grey / blue?
5. Is the sun shining?
6. Is it cold / frosty / cool?
7. Is the day bright or dull?
8. Do you like winter?
9. What poems about winter do you remember?
This is a season when children ski.
And Father Frost bring a New Year tree.
It is winter, it is cold
Father Frost is very old.
But he is always full of joy
and glad to give you a nice toy.
I am a little snowflake falling from the sky,
Falling, falling down to Earth I fly.
We shall make a snowman, big and round 2.
We shall put a snowman, on the ground 2.
It is winter, it is cold, Santa Claus is very old.
It is frosty, trees are bare, snow is here ice is there.
Days are short and nights are long,
Nature sleeps. Winds are so strong.

Checking homework
T. It’s time to talk about sports. Your homework was to learn the dialogues by heart. Let’s act out the dialogues and you can choose any toy animal you like to role play them.
(Cards with the dialogues (see appendix). Pupils in turns take the toy animals and role play the dialogues addressing the partner as: Bunny, Pussy, Clever Monkey, Strong Elephant, Merry Crocodile etc.) 
Doing physical exercises
T. Children, now it is time for you to have a rest, stand up, please!
Hands to the sides, hands on the hips, bend to the right / left, hands on the shoulders — move forward / backward, shoulders up / down / in / out, stretch, hip in / out, move your body. Stop!

Sport is fun for girls and
It’s much better than the toys.

Hockey, tennis, basketball.
You can jump and you can run.
You can have a lot of fun.
