Aims:
Practical:
  • to practice the vocabulary on the topic;
  • to develop pupils’ skills on reading and listening;
  • to learn how to form and use the verbs in Present Simple;

T. The topic of our today’s lesson is “The Days of the Week and the School Subjects.” To the end of the lesson you have to name all the days of the week, the main school subjects and retell about your favourite ones. You also have to enrich your knowledge and vocabulary on the topic.
 
So, are you ready for the lesson? Then let’s start.
 
1 Warming-up
 
What date is it today?
What season is it? (Winter)
 
In winter it often snows. Look! Some snowflakes flew into our classroom. Let’s see what they have brought us.
 
Yes, they are some English sounds. (Phonetic drills)

3. You have this lesson 4 times a week. You count, solve problems, do sums.
4. You paint or draw at this lesson. You need albums, coloured pencils, paints and brushes.

T. Два займенники HE та SHE запросили до себе в гості своїх друзів.
 
Це — дієслова. Але річ у тому, що вони забули підписати запрошення, і тепер дієслова не знають, до кого їм іти в гості.
 
(Два учні – «займенники», мають позбирати своїх гостей. «Гості» — це учні класу, яким роздають картки з дієсловами: read, speaks, go, write, paints etc.
Діти кажуть правило.)
